Ito pa yung mga sandali na healthy pa yung coping mechanism namin after work hours.
By the way, may nabasa nga pala akong article sa Forbes na ang sabi raw, may clear shift na ng leadership style post-pandemic from empathetic and people-first to a more results-driven and performance-centric model. Sabi nga rin na this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Dahil nga raw sa mounting business pressures at yung need to recover lost ground, maraming leaders na raw ang leaning into clarity, speed, and accountability.
Pero naniniwala ako na while results matter, people still do the work. Metrics tell you what happened, but they don’t explain why it’s not working. Kapag naging masyadong robotic ang leadership at naka-focus lang sa KPIs, we risk creating organizations that look good on paper but feel lifeless in real life.
Sabi nya yung success ng business nya eh hindi sa pagiging the best burger brand, it was about being the best employer. Kasi naniniwala sya na happy employees give the best service. You take care of the people, and they’ll take care of the business.
So yes, yung uso na ngayon ay performance-first. Basta ako alam ko na the future belongs to leaders who deliver results and leave people better than they found them, dun sa playground ng Ayala Triangle Gardens matapos sitahin ng guard.
